Denise L. Bradley is the CEO/Founder and Roger A. Bradley is the CFO/Co-Founder of BLO II, LLC which owns and operates BLO II Vista, Blow Dry Bar. 

 

Denise served honorably in the United States Army for 25 years.  Upon retirement Denise wanted to embark on Entrepreneurship. Roger was currently serving as an Active Duty Officer in the U.S. Army and pursuing his MBA. Denise discovered the growing trend of Blow-dry bars opening in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. She recognized and believed Blow-dry bars to be a viable business that meets the needs of women.  Utilizing their leadership skills, business acumen and people skills, Denise and Roger developed a business plan, cashed in their savings and organized a team that shared their vision.  Accordingly, Roger and Denise opened BLO II Vista, Columbia, South Carolina’s first Blow-dry bar in April of 2014.  

 

Blow-dry bars emphasize affordable services in an upscale and fun atmosphere. They’re a popular choice for women who want professional styling at a reasonable cost -- many consider them an “affordable luxury.”  In keeping with the bar format, blowouts are done at a bar setting, and customers receive a complimentary glass of wine to enhance their enjoyment.  

 

The salon supports environmental safety and its trained stylists avoid the use of harsh chemicals and sulfur-laden products. Hair can be maintained “healthy and au naturel.”  The salon is a diverse salon that services all hair textures and lengths. The environment is tastefully decorated, comfortable, and appointment times are respected. Health/safety, affordability, efficiency, enjoyment, comfort, and respect are all high priorities within this organization. The innovative strategy of BLO II Vista, as implemented by Denise and Roger, is creating a buzz in the Columbia area and is likely to take the local beauty industry to new heights.  

 

Denise Bradley is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, and resides in Columbia, South Carolina.  Roger Bradley is an Active Duty Officer with the U.S. Army serving in Seoul, South Korea.
